get to know me
Claire is graduating this May from Vestavia Hills High School, and come fall, she’s headed to Auburn University for a fun and exciting next chapter!

For her session, we headed to the always-stunning Birmingham Botanical Gardens. This time of year is my absolute favorite. The blooms are everywhere, the light is dreamy, and the gardens feel so alive! Spring evenings there also mean running into fellow photographer friends and getting to show my clients around one of my favorite spots in the city, which makes it even more special.

Claire came prepared, and I mean that in the best way. She brought five outfits for her session, including two sets she found on a family vacation that she just knew had to be part of her photos. And honestly, I love that kind of intention. Every outfit had its own moment to shine, and it made her gallery feel so dynamic and uniquely her.

We also brought along my trusty pop-up tent, which helped us move seamlessly through all the outfit changes. It’s one of those little behind-the-scenes tools that makes a big difference (and it’s linked in my Amazon Storefront for all my photographer friends!).

From start to finish, Claire was such a natural in front of the camera. She brought so much confidence with her and made every part of her session feel easy and fun. Claire, it was such a joy getting to capture this season for you, and I just know you’re going to thrive at Auburn this fall!
