get to know me
This past February marked a turning point for my business, one that had been on my heart for months. In November 2025, I had this idea: what if I brought together a group of wedding planners for a night that wasn’t just about networking, but about inspiration? A night to showcase an incredible team of Alabama vendors, debut my new brand name, and design something truly show-stopping.
So… goodbye ESP, and hello ELP.

If you’re in the wedding world, you know that January through March is typically considered slow season (even though it never really is). It’s the time we spend behind the scenes working on admin, refining systems and dreaming up what’s next. This year, I decided to pour that energy into something creative and community-driven.

This event became so much more than a new brand name launch. It was a celebration of growth, creativity and the people who help make this industry so special!

From the moment guests arrived to The Conservatory at Crosswicks, every detail was designed to introduce the new brand in a way that felt immersive and fun. We had temporary tattoos of my gardenia icon (made possible by Posh Boho Dispensed), a signature cocktail, Lafoy No. 1, crafted to taste like the essence of my brand, and custom matchbooks featuring the new logo. Every touchpoint was intentional, playful, and a little bit bold.

Now let’s talk about the design.
The overall vision was brought together by Sarah Tedder of Kindred Weddings, who took the concept and elevated it into a cohesive, design-forward experience. Every element felt thoughtful and beautifully executed.

We leaned into a funky, boundary-pushing color palette that felt fresh and unexpected, and it came to life in the most incredible way through florals by Cole Buys Design. Cole spent the entire day working in a steamy greenhouse to make it all happen, and the result was nothing short of art. Every arrangement felt vibrant, textural, and completely unforgettable.

I can’t write this blog without giving a giant “thank you” to Cember Studio for bringing my rebrand to life. From logos to wax seals to invoice templates, they walked with me through every step of this transition. This launch wouldn’t have felt the same without their creativity and support.

The night itself? Pure magic.
The vibe was stylish but relaxed, like a group of friends gathered around a big table. There were conversations happening in every corner, so much laughter, and this underlying sense of connection that you can’t really manufacture. A saxophone played softly in the background, adding the perfect layer of ambiance, while some of the most talented creatives in Alabama mingled, shared ideas, and simply enjoyed being together.

And the food!
Tre Luna Catering absolutely outdid themselves. Every bite was thoughtful, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Truly the best in the business, and such a highlight of the evening.

More than anything, this night reminded me why I love this industry. It’s not just about the work we create, it’s about the people we create it with! Getting to gather, celebrate, and dream alongside so many talented vendors was something I’ll never forget.
