Emma and Nolan are getting hitched!!! And if you know Emma, you know that sentence deserves at least three exclamation points. She is one of the smiliest, most joyful people you’ll ever meet. Emma is deeply intentional and so very loved by the people around her. I had the privilege of discipling Emma from 7th-12th grade, so documenting this season of her life is incredibly special to me.
Of course, reminiscing on Emma’s younger years during the session brought back some hilarious memories. I still remember Emma scream-singing in my backseat while throwing cotton candy out the window in 7th grade. Truly unmatched energy. And yes, I fully expect that same level of enthusiasm on the dance floor at their wedding in November.
We started their engagement session at sunrise on Chace Lake, and the soft morning light could not have been more beautiful. Emma and Nolan laughed their way through every moment together, making my job so easy!
Afterward, we wandered through English Village where they brought along one of their favorite shared hobbies: games! Their tiny Scrabble board was the cutest addition to the session and made everything feel even more personal.
These two are so much fun together, and it’s clear they genuinely enjoy every second with each other! I already know their wedding day is going to be full of love and laughter. November can’t come soon enough!
