Adeline, Cael and I met up for two laughter-filled hours of photo taking, and it was everything I could’ve asked for. This engagement session was such a refreshing reminder that the photographs I care most about aren’t the perfectly styled ones, they’re the ones that mean something.
Our first stop was the Botanical Gardens, one of my favourite locations in the early summer. If you time your session just right, you can catch the roses in full bloom! They’re so fragrant and always make for the perfect backdrop.
Adeline and Cael met in Nashville, TN where they currently reside! They are question-askers, creatives and fun-loving people who can’t help but have a good time when they’re together. As thoughtful as these two are, I already know their wedding day will reflect that.
After wrapping up at the gardens, we hopped on over to Crest Road to catch the last bit of sunlight for the day. My favourite sessions typically end with shoes off and bare feet in the grass, and that’s precisely what happened here. These images feel relaxed, care-free and genuine, just how I like it!
I’m so grateful for Adeline and Cael, and for this fun night we had exploring Birmingham together. They’re getting married this October on family land, and it’s an honour to be their photographer!
