This session with the Matthews family was truly full circle.
From the very beginning, I’ve had the honor of walking alongside Beth and Jamieson through some of their biggest milestones. I first photographed their proposal, then their engagement session, and then their wedding day. So stepping into their home last week to photograph them with their newborn baby boy? It felt unbelievably surreal!
At just two weeks old, Samuel absolutely crushed his first photoshoot. He slept beautifully the entire time, giving us the dreamiest, most peaceful moments to capture. There’s something so special about those early newborn days!
What made this session even more meaningful was getting to watch Beth and Jamieson step into this new role as parents. These two have always been an incredible team, and that hasn’t changed, it’s only deepened! The way they care for Samuel comes so naturally to them both.
Throughout the session, they kept laughing and saying, “Can you believe we have a baby?!” Their joy and disbelief made everything feel even more real and beautiful. You could tell they’re soaking in every moment and having so much fun in this new season.
