Welcome the Lovejoys back to the blog! John and Riley’s beautiful daughter, Zadie, is one of the smartest four-year-olds I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. She is so precious, polite and fun! Her parents are just the same, and acted like they were teenagers in love throughout our whole session. Shoutout to John and Riley for really leaning in and getting comfortable in such a short timeframe. They’re my favourite kind of couple to capture!
I’ve photographed this sweet family since Zadie was in the womb, and it’s such a gift to hang out with them every year! This time around, we were at Altadena Valley Park, one of my favourite locations for mini sessions in the fall. There’s plenty of space for little ones to run and jump, and the trees & wild grass always perfectly complement everyone’s fall outfits.
I had so much fun spending these fifteen minutes with the Lovejoys, and I hope to have them in front of my camera again for many years to come!
