get to know me
Caroline, Conner and I started our evening engagement session at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, one of the best places to be this time of year. Everything was in full bloom, the light was soft and golden, and the entire space felt alive with color. It’s one of my favorite spots in town for a reason, and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful setting to kick off their session.

From the beginning, Caroline and Conner were completely at ease. They have an effortless connection with each other! They were constantly laughing and just genuinely enjoying being together. It made photographing them feel so easy and so fun.

After the gardens, we headed over to Country Club of Birmingham, both a beautiful and sentimental choice for these two! Not only is it Caroline’s home course, but it’s also where they’ll be getting married this May. And, with both of them working for the PGA Tour and sharing a love for golf, it felt like the most them place we could possibly go.

Of course, in true Alabama fashion, the weather had a little surprise for us.
Just as we arrived at the course, a quick pop-up shower rolled through. We took cover in a golf cart for about 10–15 minutes, laughing and waiting it out. Thankfully it just added to the experience, because right after the rain cleared, the sky opened up to the most beautiful rainbow!

From there, the evening turned absolutely magical. The greens were fresh, the air was breezy, and Caroline and Conner fully leaned into it. Being avid golfers, they came prepared, and it showed. Every frame felt like such a natural extension of who they are together!

Caroline and Conner, I had the best time with you both. You made everything feel so easy, and I already know your wedding day is going to be just as incredible. I cannot wait to be back at the country club celebrating you two this May!
